S05E100, Baby Steps, to Where? Andy B 2 Minute Video
How many projects end up being sold, in pieces, on eBay? From project cars to project kitchens, we all have those things we begin and never complete. But the worst thing we can ever do is to simply never begin something.
Sure, the road might be long and tough, but you can never finish the project you never begin.
I’m not talking about putting things off, but actually intentionally not beginning them!
Jesus said we’ll be able to do greater things than He did. Now, I have to admit that scares me a little, and confuses me a little bit too.
It scares me because I can’t contrive how I’ll ever be able to do anything greater than what we saw Jesus do! And it confuses me because I’ can’t contrive how I’ll ever be able to do anything greater than what we saw Jesus do!
If God’s given you a project then take the first step towards the finish line, and make that first step! It may be as simple as telling someone about what you think God has asked you to do – so they can encourage you and hold you account when you’re not getting it ‘done’.
It may be enrolling a night class, or making a phone call.
But, whatever that first step is, take it. Because you’ll never stand on the finishing line if you don’t, first, stand on the starting line.

[00:00:00] So another Andy B Two Minute Video, and this is my 100th of this particular Season! So we began with Season 1. We had 11 episodes. Season 2, I did 7. Season 3 was 29, Season 4 was 99 episodes, and this is the 100th episode of Season 5. 246 videos in total.
[00:00:31] When I began these, that first Season of 11 videos, I was changing the backgrounds, I was changing the microphone, I was changing the approach, and the style, what was the length supposed to be and all these kind of things. And over the last 245 videos, what I do has changed.
[00:00:49] What I began doing was just taking random items around the house, and random thoughts, and then sticking 'em into a little video, and it's become something that I now do every weekday at 6 [00:01:00] o'clock. And it's a way of trying to bring life and faith somehow together.
[00:01:06] Quite frequently as we go through life, there are things that, well, how does that faith affect my life? And, well, what's that life gotta do with my Christian faith? And, sometimes, you'll feel like these things should be somehow separated and kept apart. But, actually, our Christian journey, our walk with Jesus Christ, has everything to do with life!
[00:01:30] It isn't just a faith thing. it's faith and life. Life with faith.
[00:01:37] If God's got a project for you, then begin it. Expect it to change over time.
[00:01:41] I didn't have t-shirts like this when we began. Didn't have fancy green screens and lighting when we began. Didn't have fancy microphones and cameras when we began, but as it goes on, it gets better and it improves and we, we refine it.
[00:01:53] It's not just me that does this, this is my words and my writing, but we've got a team of people behind me that help me. And [00:02:00] we, we, we, we, we nurture this thing.
[00:02:04] If God's got a project for you to do, it might involve lots of little tiny baby steps but, eventually, as you look back, you'll see all those little baby steps and realize you've come quite far.

[00:02:22] If God's got a project for you, and even if it takes little steps, take those little steps and let God steer where you go, and who knows where you'll end up.
[00:02:35] The worst thing you can do is never taking that first step. Take the first step, the rest gets easier.
