Something struck me as I was preparing for Father's Day last week.

This is a great opportunity for the church to celebrate fatherhood - to celebrate all men who play a father role. After all, it's one of the commandments to honour your Father and Mother, so it is good and right to take time to honour our father and all those men who are like fathers to us.

It's good and right to celebrate fathers on Father's Day and it is a great time to remind us of and indeed remind everyone that God is our Perfect Father in heaven.
Thank you, Father for being my Perfect Father.
