#TestimonyTuesday: A Financial Miracle
A Financial Miracle
Obedience is a good thing, and sometimes we just need to obey.
In a previous post we did something we’re not overly comfortable with, and asked people if they would consider supporting us in different ways, including supporting us financially.
Now, perhaps because we’re British this can seem a daunting thing to do. Is it a cultural thing? Let us know on that one!
And, yet, we’ve seen first hand many times what happens when you’re honest about your situation and give others the opportunity to walk alongside you, or even just cheer you on a bit further we’ve had people thank us for asking, and we’ve had people never speak to us again.
We’ve been blessed by some amazing gifts that came in very recently to provide for the needs we felt we were gonna have while we take some much need annual leave. So we can now afford a day trip (well several I think), some ice creams by the sea and a meal out too.
There’s another gift that was steered in a different direction – at the behest of the giver – but you’ll have to wait for next Tuesday’s #TestimonyTuesday post to find out about that one.
If you’re struggling, it’s always worth being honest with the people you’re connected with!
Sometimes it may be monies you don’t need to spend out – we’ve recently seen that.
Sometimes it may be monies you do need – we’ve recently seen that.
Sometimes it’ll be provision in a whole other way you could have never expected – we’ve recently seen that too.
So, be honest with people, even if you’re British and talking about money may not be something you’re comfortable with!
I’m challenged and encouraged that Jesus needed money too – although I appreciate the word ‘need’ should be used with a little caution here (or maybe it shouldn’t?), but the temple tax was the temple tax, and Jesus was a carpenter with the bible never suggests He worked for free. That would have been an abnormal thing to do when you’ve been trained up in a trade: if Jesus was a live on earth so He could walk the same world, money would have been a part of that too.
So, if you want to support the BerryBunch Ministry, we’d love to walk together.
You can easily do this right here on our website.
