S03E007, Mary’s Song of Praise, Family Prayer Time

 

Peter and JoJo continue to encourage us to pray as a family by using prayers found in the Bible. As it’s nearly Christmas, Peter and Jo chose Mary’s song also known as the Magnificat – Magnificent!

Peter and JoJo take in turns reading out loud the whole of this prayer for themselves which is found in Luke 1: 46-55 and encourage us to do the same as a family. This scripture helps us praise God and can be used as part of our family reflections at Christmas time or indeed anytime of the year.

JoJo talks about the significance of this amazing prayer from Mary, the mother of Jesus and how Mary had met up with Elizabeth, the mother of John the Baptist.

Peter and JoJo encourage us to be like Mary and submit to God and his plans for us. We too are chosen when we follow Jesus.
